Love was in the air this week and it was so nice to get a break from the unseasonable heat we have had recently.  I have been sowing so much lately that I ran out of flats.  I found one flat on Valentines Day and managed to keep the holiday 'hot' by sowing Spicy Microgreens.  I also finished making floral sage bundles that are now for sale at the shop in the Malibu Wines tasting area.  The sage and flowers were harvested from the garden and made with lots of love.  I figured they would be a great purchase for your special Valentine.

Aside from some plants going to seed early, the garden has been filling in nicely.  Nasturtium and Fava Bean flowers are pretty happy right now and the potato plants have popped up.  There are even some Sunflowers (my favorite flower) showing off their pretty faces!

There are currently a lot of exciting things on the horizon with Hike & Harvest tours increasing in March, outdoor kitchen area being built out, as well as continual planning for the Garden Dinners.  Something tells me 2018 is going to be an incredible year for Saddlerock Gardens.   

Current Harvest at Saddlerock:  Oranges, Purple Mustard Greens, Carrots, Broccoli, Radishes, Collards, Arugula, Kale, Microgreens & Herbs.
