Feb. 23, 2018

Can you believe this weather?!  It is the coldest winter weather for LA in 7 years!  I have been wearing wool layers all week and alternating between my fingerless gloves and gardening gloves.  I admit to trying to wear both at the same time for more layering, but it didn't make for successful gardening haha.

Unfortunately the frosty nights hit our crop of Nasturtium which doesn't handle frost like other cool crops.  We are going to give it a week to bounce back.

More beds have been created & added to the garden which look fresh!  No seeds or transplants in them yet due to the cold.

Our first Goat Yoga Class at Saddlerock Gardens will be this Sunday Feb 25.  I am happy to say it Sold Out!  If you are interested in any upcoming events, you can view them as they become available at this link:  http://www.malibuwinehikes.com/specialty-hikes

Current Harvest at Saddlerock:  Oranges, Purple Mustard Greens, Carrots, Broccoli, Radishes, Collards, Arugula, Kale, Microgreens & Herbs.
