March 9, 2018
I am excited about a few things coming up within the week; We are expecting more rain, Daylight Savings is Sunday & We are just one week away from our first Garden Dinner for 2018! It isn't too late to be a part of this lovely event!
Garden is looking better day by day and the greenhouse is full to the max. I have started sowing summer seeds like basil, tomatoes, cucumbers and zucchini. I must say, I love sowing zucchini because the seeds are so easy to manage in my hands. We also have some tomato and pepper starts in the garden.
A new project I started this week is a tower garden. It is a vertical, aeroponic growing system that allows growth of certain vegetables, herbs and flowers. Aeroponic is a type of hydroponic system. I look forward to see it fill in over the next few months. It will definitely be an edible photo opp!
Upcoming workshops & classes are really starting to fill up the calendar. By popular demand, Goat Yoga will be 2xs a month! The next one is scheduled for Sunday March 18 from 11-1pm. Yoga classes without goats will also be starting in April. All will be able to be found on Malibu Wine Hikes website under 'events.'
