Resident Chef alina hardin
Executive Chef Alina Hardin is a founding partner of the Saddlerock Garden Dinners. She operates her food styling and private chef business out of Topanga Canyon in Los Angeles, CA. Her love for food began in her mother’s kitchen, which was filled with the delicious smells, and rich colors of local produce and healthy ingredients. She incorporates into her own cooking the myriad flavors she has come across in her world travels and she is inspired daily by the beauty and diversity of this planet and the wealth of food cultures that nourish people all over the world.
Her seasonal dishes emulate the comfort of home, the sensory richness of exploration, and the diverse beauty of nature. She is always cooking up new ways to share with the world her love of food and her appreciation for its taste and beauty.

Peace on Earth” is a widely shared goal, but not a common one in our day-to-day lives—especially when it comes to the food we eat. Casey Dobbins is a born and raised vegetarian from a cow town in eastern Kansas. An unlikely tale, but one that colors her perception and refines her awareness of what it means to be a (self-proclaimed) “Peace Chef.” Her approach to cooking is rooted in her parent’s involvement in the plant-based counterculture food movement of the 1960’s, which also inspired her to open her first restaurant: a vegetarian cafe in Lawrence, KS. Upon moving to Los Angeles, Casey spent a short and sweet couple of years with the family at Elf Cafe, before becoming a private chef and food stylist. She now resides in Echo Park with her husband and new baby boy, Cricket. Encouraging peace and creating a gentle world through food is Casey’s culinary mission, even if it means doing it one bowl at a time.
